GOT7: The Spoils of War review

Dracaras! All I can say after, yes the shortest episode but also one hell of a battle scene where we finally see some ass kicking from the dragons against the Lannisters. Daenerys finally goes on the attack in Westeros after basically sitting on her backside gloating about her achievement so far for 3 episodes. It is explosive, destructive and all the Lannisters seem to do the dragon is piss them off. that battle scene is what I was referring to in my previous reviews of this season so far. The meat I have mentioned. This is what fans have been dying to see, and it was a glorious spectacle, enjoyable and gave us some jaw dropping pieces of footage that fans will be talking about until episode 5 air the following week.

It is not all that happens. Arya returns to Winterfell. A significant event in itself that continues to add to the tensions at Winterfell and add more dimensions into what could happen in the north.

Theon returns to Dragonstone and bumps into Jon who tells him the only reason why he doesn’t kill him. But the drawings from the cave show add some significant backstory to what happened to the children and the first men. It adds small slices of details of what the white walkers can do. These little additions to the back stories of characters within the show are now ever more important, as we are coming to the end they will be segments that people will need to remember for when the big fight finally arrives.

This leading me on to the only one thing that is missing now from the season and that is the white walkers themselves. Not some small teaser or build up scenes but now we need to see what they are truly capable of and what they will do to the people populating Westeros if they are not dealt. It is something I am looking forward to immensely. However, I am just worried they will be dealt with in a single episode despite been built and built and built like they have.
