Movies Announced At Comic-Con

Great news, Wonder Woman 2 is officially a go! It was officially announced at Comic-Con on Saturday, Warner Bros. revealed a sequel to the very successful Wonder Woman, of course Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Diana Prince in the sequel to the most profitable movie yer from the DC Universe.


Of course a Wonder Woman sequel was inevitable, the film quickly beat the box office takings of Man of Steel, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad! with around 767.7 million worldwide since hitting cinemas on June 2nd, Wonder Woman broke records including the highest grossing live-action film directed by a woman. The only information known about the sequel at this point is that the story will take place in the U.S

In addition to Wonder Woman plans were also announced for Suicide Squad 2, The Batman and Bat girl movies. Suicide Squad 2 is thought be filmed next year with a 2019 release date, altho David Ayer will not be back to direct the movie, Ayer will be directing a Harley Quinn spin off movie (Margot Robbie will be back to play Quinn).


Meanwhile Warner Bros and DC Entertainment are reportedly developing a movie that will focus on Harley Quinn and the Joker, both Margot Robbie and Jared Leto are set to reprise their roles within the movie which has a title of Harley Quinn Vs The Joker, the yet to be confirmed project is in addition to Suicide Squad 2 and the “Gotham City Sirens” movie. The Harley and Joker movie is said to be Suicide Squad spin off with DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns set to produce.
